We all feel pain. I made a funny quote back when I was suffering: "When you're on the wrong side of zero, nothing is something." It is interesting how, when I say "pain", everyone immediately comprehends, but each person in a very personal way. Pain may be shared, but it is understood differently even when it is. Your pain is your own, and it always will be. My pain, for instance? I dunno. Maybe I deserved it. Maybe I didn't. There is that little bird, though, which comes at the unlikeliest of times and lands on your shoulder. It tells you that sometimes, it's worth it.... I believe that little bird.

Maybe in the grand scope of karma, buddha, god, fate... whatever you want to call it... pain was planned for us. Would you or anyone be where you are today if you hadn't had the expeirnces you had in your own life. So many people are unhappy with themselvs due to the fact they can't indentify pain, embrace it, and let it heal. When you touch and iron... you brain identifies the pain, you embrace it by running your finger under cold water, and then you wait for it to heal. Pain is worth it, and it is possible to forgive and yet not forget. For you will always have that scar on your finger. Pain is expressed in our own ways... some sketch or write while others spend days crying in a locked room. What's important is to embrace pain only until it is soothed, and not forever so that you can draw attention or feel loved when your not etc. etc.
